Welcome to Celebes Island

Tabek...! Ufh, well done...
Finally, we stepped at Celebes Island (Sulawesi Island), our first destination was South Sulawesi, Makassar. Hmm...But wait a second, pals? what comes in your mind when you heard the word Celebes Island?
Yups, that's right...Coto Makassar, Tana Toraja, and Bunaken. Take it easy, we have full agenda beyond our journey on Sulawesi. We have plenty of time to explore it all. notwithstanding the fact, it's only a short time on Sulawesi we're still possible to enjoy it all approprioately. believe me, it's even more wonderfull to have a special agenda named, Home Stay. And the target place to have Home stay is Kodingareng Island. This is a beautiful island which are still categorized as a remote area. it's seen by the limited access on electricity, yet the people are warm and friendly to welcome the visitors, especially all the participating youths of Kapal Pemuda Nusantara 2008.

Coaching Session

It’s time to study...this’ one of the core Agenda beyond the journey, learning and discussing session. All participating youths were expected to have a broader knowledge of global issues, especially which related to ocean and its huge potential natural sources. Therefore, some experts were purposely invited to give lessons in order to open our vista toward the ocean issues in Indonesia.

To be honest, it’s even more wonderful to hear the explanation given by the Keynote speaker which scrutinized about the Indonesia huge potential natural source which told that it ought to be concentrated on the sea. In fact, our country puts no extra attention on this part yet. We realize it or not, Indonesia is an archipelago country which surrounded by thousand islands, it is meant we have the “initial capital” to be a rich country by exploring its natural sources appropriately and positively. Hmm…am I right?
