Zero (0) Km to Celebes

Yuhuu..it’s time to go to conquer the deep blue sea…

Finally, after we have previously been quarantined for almost 3 days at Cibubur, Jakarta, the day to begin the journey has come…all the participating youths were 100 percents ready to face the high wave of the sea as have been done by our ancestor as well (nenek moyang ku seorang pelaut, is it?)
….priiitttttttt…..priiiiiittttt…..priiiiittttttt….ufh, that was the sign which instructed all the participants to come to the yard of youth camp immediately. This’ due to an order to have a closing ceremony before we “take off” to Tanjung Priok Harbor by bus…

“Well, now is final checking, please all group commanders report each member” said Pak Lurah, Mr. Budi Cahyo..(Pak Lurah is the term of youth leader).

“Ok, complete,…Allright…let’s come to the bus…!!!...Hmm…wait…wait…wait…Take the Picture first….Say Cissssss….Smileeeee….Blitz…”

Welcome To Cibubur, Pals...!!

The sun was too hot when I arrived at Cengkareng terminal…What existed in my mind was only to find the easiest way to reach my final destination, CIbubur. It’s around 3 hours later I finally stepped my path at its place. Wuih…! Still Hot ...and burned my spirit to register my name to the committee immediately…Wouw! It’s even more surprisingly when I’ve reported my personal information to the committee, in fact, they gave me some goods to be equipped during the program, there’re..Blue jacket, blue hat, etc. Then, they instructed me to take rest to the tend which has previously been prepared by the committee at the Youth Camp.mmm….at the first, I felt so weird coz I even recognized no one on that place…thus, I put my heavy luggage to the tend and I directly decided to go to the canteen...mmm, there were youths who came from all provinces in Indonesia have been arrived and made conversation one another in the room. To be honest, that’s a funny moment to be remembered, especially when I now see the beside picture, it clicks me to laugh…this is the first picture of the journey, that’s our first meeting, yet we have felt closed and talked freely…Mr. Opick, Udin’tetua adat’, Budi ‘Paklur’, Sigit ’Raja Lumba-lumba’, Warka ‘Celebes’, Mas Udin ‘djogja’, Dedi ’Kangen’, intan'jogja', amel 'jabar', Yuli'plmbng'…and others …May God Bless U all.

Hey Lejanus...KAKAAAP...!!

Wuih! well, in KPN 2008 program, the whole participating youth was divided into several teams. and the most interesting part is each team had its own unique name and a cheer as its characteristic. I still remember that was a funny occasion especially when Dolphin team showed their cheer to the audience. that's absolutely funny when they acted as a real dolphin at the end of their cheer"...si Lumba-Lumba...si lumba-lumba.."said Sigit as the team chief. however, from those cheers I personally assume that the best cheer was still my own team cheer..KakaaaaaPP....oops! yuuukkk!!hee..ee..piss:-)!

mmm...be serious! Now is 28th Oct 2008...today is one of the most important day beyond the long history of Indonesia. cos today is celebrated as the youth day. as we know, in 28th Oct 1928, the whole youths of Indonesia declared the unity of the youth of Indonesia which at that time were still separated by its own region (province). The unity as Indonesia even it is separated by islands. Therefore, through this writing, I'd say...let's become a better generation by giving our worth dedication to beloved Indonesia, Okay!

oops! b4 we're going further, there's perhaps a question why does this blog is composed in English? mm.. good question! I honestly wanna inform that this blog is actually dedicated to whole youth in Indonesia, especially the big family of KPN. yet, I also just wanna share information to the youth of overseas which come from all around the world . Through this blog, I personally hope that it can contribute in giving information that we are the youth of Indonesia is exist...

Yuhuu..It’s even more unbelievable to realize that we have passed the great time beyond the voyage to Surabaya-Makassar,South Sulawesi-Bitung-and Manado, North Sulawesi. Or even to share through this writing that we have conquered the rough blue sea by standing on Labobar. Then, the unforgettable time when we snorkeled in Bunaken…WouW! Two Thumbs up!

Hey…hey…!! Would u know? this is the most favorite song beyond the journey to Celebes (an island province located on east Indonesia, the most well-known tourism places are Tana Toraja and Bunaken). Even on Lobobar (PELNI’s Ship), the youth participants often sing this song to recharge their spirit…am I rightJ? Well, I think by attaching this lyric is the most appropriate way to begin this blog. To be honest, through this blog, I personally wanna give at least glance information due to KPN program, especially a recap of the journey of KPN program which has been held on 31 July-14 August 2008. I do hope, this work would give any benefit to the readers especially the big family of KPN. Ok then, The article within this blog will be represented by the Pic(s) attached at each story. KPN @ Glance

Ship of Nusantara youth (KPN) is one of programs organized by the ministry of sport and youth affairs. This program is firstly begun in 2004. The program which is participated by the selected youths in entire provinces in Indonesia is intended to establish youth awareness toward nationality and specially to evoke the sense of belonging of the sea which meant to love the whole sea in Indonesia and consider it as the huge potential of natural source. KPN is also the program which meant to build positive character of its participants such as leadership. Therefore, at the end of program, the whole participants are at least expected to acquire useful knowledge and to implement it
